Special Machine for assembling burner beds for boilers.
The plant has an Industrial PC containing different recipes stored.
These can be created and uploaded and stored in the SPC 200 (from FESTO Pneumatic Actuator).
The SPC 200 is programmed as a CNC.
After aluminium profiles are taken from the oven they are transported by a robot into a packaging line.
Due to customer-specific profile requirements, the profiles are then delivered to the packing tables at different times for packaging.
The exisiting Siemens S5 control was modified to ensure that no more collisions occurred between the profiles and any mechanical components.
Thereby downtime was reduced and the customer gained significant efficiency improvements.
