Transport/Logistics

Several railway bridges with a new Siemens S7-300/400 control with PROFIBUS and industrial Ethernet.
The existing system was converted to Siemens S5 Siemens S7 and expanded with a second service station which is connected to the traffic control centre via an ATM connection.
Audio and video systems on all rail bridges are controlled by Siemens PLC's.
Audio and video signals are sent via live streaming (UDP) over the ATM network.

An existing program for the communication system between electronic road signs and one or more traffic control centres, using the UDP-IP protocol.
The complete message control and handling / composition takes place in a Siemens S7-300 series with 340 CP advanced IT and card communicating with Profibus.
In addition, a tool was developed in Visual Basic to provide a complete traffic simulation centre.
