DCS Engineer
Job description
SCADA engineer with experience in industrial automation process control systems required to design and deliver process control and automation solutions, using various SCADA systems.
As well as working in a purely technical function, you will also act in a customer-facing role, giving advice to clients.
Requirements:
HNC/HND in an applicable discipline (electrical/electronic engineering) as a minimum qualification. BEng or equivalent degree is desirable.
You will have excellent process knowledge in the field of industrial automation and preferably experience with one or more DCS systems such as Siemens SIMATIC PCS7, ABB Industrial IT, Yokogawa, Emerson DeltaV, Foxboro or Honeywell.
You should be willing to travel frequently, work irregular hours where necessary, and carry out work for customers at home and abroad. There is a high degree of autonomy in the role, so accountability and a sense of responsibility are important. You will have excellent communication and customer facing skills.
